Daniel Wickerink Obituary
Daniel Craig Wickerink, age 71, of Ionia, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018. He was born November 23, 1946 in Ionia, the son of Donald and Leta (Wilcox) Wickerink. Dan loved sports, especially baseball and hockey. He was an avid Detroit Tigers, Redwings, and MSU Spartan fan. He also enjoyed playing keno and cherished his pet cats and dog, Cooper. Dan retired from the Department of Corrections after over 30 years of dedicated service.
Preceding Dan in death are his parents and daughter, Leslie Wickerink. Surviving are his wife of 22 years, Tammy; daughters, Melissa Ellis and Jennifer (Greg) Perry; grandchildren, Rhet, Tim, Aleisha, Trevor, Kayleigh, Orlando, Kiyome, Lynette, and Joshua; great-granchildren, Conner, Bentley, Sawyer, Carter, and Jayden; siblings, Denny (Jean) Wickerink, Larry (Kathy) Wickerink, LeeAnn (Dave) Henry, and Lisa Loucks.
