Loving mother, granny, daughter, sister, dork, poopsie, honey buns, and queen.

She is survived by Tim, her husband of 34 years; children, Samantha (Keith) Hooker and Dustin (Jenna) Thelen, grandchildren, Sabrina, Charlotte, and Baby Thelen; parents, Don and MaryEllen Schneider; siblings, Kevin (Brenda) Schneider, Becky (Jim) Miller, Chris (Kristen) Schneider, and Vicki (Mark) Amundsen; along with many nieces and nephews; and Oscar the cat.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Eric Weber at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Westphalia. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-7 p.m. at the St. Mary’s Funeral Chapel, 210 N. Westphalia Street, Westphalia. The rosary will be prayed at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the chapel. In lieu of  a luncheon, a memorial contribution will be made in Gwen’s name to The American Red Cross and the Pewamo Fire Department. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes.
