Sarah Mae Maxwell, age 56, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at her residence. Sarah was born at Lansing General Hospital on May 8, 1961. She is preceded in death by her father, John Maxwell, Sr.; sister, Nancy Robinson; life partner, Wayne "Butch" King; brothers-in-law, Dave Kolp and Dave Good. Surviving Sarah are her ; son, Steed Scutt; daughter, Tabitha Maxwell; mother, Ardis LaVonne Delong; sisters, Carol Kolp, Sondra Ememhiser, and Pam Good; brother, John Maxwell, Jr.; and grandchildren, Steed Jr., Anthony James, Chelsie & Griffin. Sarah was a CNA at Rose Lawn Nursing Home and loved helping people. She also enjoyed sports, especially NASCAR & her Detroit Tigers. The Memorial Service will be at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Portland with a luncheon to follow for any and all that would like to come and celebrate the life of Sarah.
