Bonnie Jo (Sandborn) Jameson

Bonnie Jo Jameson (Sandborn), age 85, of Delta Township passed away peacefully on February 20, 2024. She was born on August 22, 1938 in Orange Township to Riley and Anis (Benschoter) Sandborn. Bonnie loved Christian music concerts, Michigan State Basketball games and their summer place at Sandy Pines. She enjoyed hosting and spending time with her family, was a believer in prayer and loved the Lord.

Preceding Bonnie in death are her parents, and siblings Kendall Sandborn, Howard (Mary) Sandborn, Maxine (Paul) Volk, June (Robert) Higbee, Riley(Maxine) Sandborn, Louis (Mary) Sandborn, Joyce (Donald) Lyon, and Janet (Gerald) Gilbert. Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Mike Jameson; children, Tom (Donna) Jameson and Jacki Jameson; grandchildren Nicole (Andrew) Morris, Kelly (Andrew) Rusnell, Sommer Wood (Nate Herrema), Skyler Jameson; great-grandchildren, Chloe and Hudson Morris, Kinsley, Carter and soon-to-arrive Baby Rusnell, and Owen Herrema; siblings, Richard (Marcia) Sandborn, Gary Sandborn, Judy McCrumb, Betty Russell and Barb Sandborn and siblings through marriage, Errol (Elaine) Jameson, Cora Lee (Sheldon) Peck, Ruth (Bill) Bronkema, and John (Linda) Jameson.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, February 23, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. at the Lehman Fuenral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland.

The Funeral Service will be officiated by Pastor Tad Jameson at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 24, 2024 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Portland Cemetery.
