Tonya Sue Leik

Tonya Sue Leik, of Mason, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 at the age of 51. She was born in Ionia, the daughter of Dan and Sally (Breimeyer) Leik on August 18, 1972. Tonya was a graduate of Portland High School, Class of 1990 and she went on to study at Madonna University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. She had a great sense of humor and was quite strong-willed. Tonya always rooted for the underdog and was a big advocate for the elderly during her career in healthcare administration at various extended care facilities. Tonya’s greatest love was for her dogs, Sheldon, Stella, Sophia, Sullivan, and the late Snickers. She touched the lives of everyone she met, the world is a better place because of Tonya.

Preceding Tonya in death are her grandparents, Jerry and Hilda Leik and Andrew and Esther Breimeyer and brothers, Danny David and Denny Leik. She is survived by her parents, Dan and Sally Leik; siblings, Patti Luttman, Christina (Darin) Roll, John (Lynn) Leik, and Janet Richardson; nieces and nephews, Chase Roll, Alivia and Allison Leik, Kelsey, Emily, and Lainey Leik; and friend, Dan Edwards.

A visitation honoring Tonya will be held at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Online condolences may be made at www.lehmanfuneralhomes.com.
