Beverly Marie Nurenberg, age 49, of Westphalia, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019. Bev was a devoted and loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, cousin, and friend. She was born January 3, 1970, the daughter of Edwin and Monica (Trierweiler) Schneider. Bev graduated from Pewamo-Westphalia High School in 1988 and was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Christian Mother’s Society. She enjoyed gardening and baking in her spare time. Bev’s love for her family surpassed all; she made each of her seven children feel like an only child with the one on one time she provided to them. On September 26, 1992, Bev married her high school sweetheart, Pete Nurenberg and they shared 27 wonderful years of marriage together.
Preceding Bev in death are her grandparents. She is survived by her parents, Edwin and Monica Schneider; husband, Pete Nurenberg; children, Jake (Katie), Katie, Ellie, Mitch, Landon, Gavin, and Brock Nurenberg; siblings, Sue (Tim) Dickinson, Rick (Rachel) Schneider, Jim (Allaire) Schneider, Doug (Brianna) Schneider, and Nikki (Dustin) Burke; in-laws, John and Rose Nurenberg; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mary Nurenberg, John (Beth) Nurenberg, Julie Schafer, and Doug (Stacey) Nurenberg; and many special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Eric Weber at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Westphalia. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the St. Mary’s Funeral Chapel, 210 N. Westphalia Street, Westphalia. The rosaries will be prayed Sunday at 1:30 p.m. and Monday at 5:30 p.m. at the chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes.
