Donna Jean (Condon) Repik

Donna Jean Repik, age 95, of Ionia, passed away on October 22, 2019. She was born in Lowell, Michigan, the daughter of William and Mildred (Colby) Condon. Donna had a heart of gold and was very involved in the community, volunteering for funeral luncheons at S.S. Peter & Paul Church and helping out with voting in Easton Township.

“Our dear mother Donna Repik was the matriarch of our large family. She was an inspiration to so many. She was always kind and generous in everything she did. She had a huge heart and loved everyone. She loved God and followed his ways to be the person she was. She will be sadly missed by many. She is finally home.”

Surviving Donna are her loving children, Karen (Butch) Perry, Marcia (Rick) Kilduff, Tom (Sue) Repik, Liane Wood, Carol (John) Hummel, and Connie Kelly; 17 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Pat (Roy) Jeffrey and Bob (Deanne) Condon. Donna is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Repik; infant son, Terry Repik; grandson, Jason Repik; son-in-law, Paul Wood; sister, Nancy Reed; brothers, Claude “Bud” Condon and William Condon.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Lansing and Ionia Area Hospice and the Ionia County Commission on Aging for the wonderful care and assistance they gave to Donna.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Thomas Brown at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 28, 2019 at S.S. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Ionia. Rite of Committal will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lansing and Ionia Area Hospice or the Ionia County Commission on Aging in memory of Donna. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes.
