Gerald F. Wohlscheid, age 90, of Beulah formerly of Ionia, passed away October 21, 2018. He was born January 13, 1928, the son of Ferdinand and Sadie (Wilcox) Wohlscheid. He was a proud veteran, serving in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII. Gerald was a dedicated employee at Motor Wheel for 44 ½ years. He enjoyed fishing and traveling.

Surviving Gerald are his children, Gerald (Ginger) Wohlscheid, Jr., Jo Lynn Rueckert, Cynthia Wohlscheid, and Suzanne Miller; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mary Sandborn and Gwen (Donald) Bentley. Gerald is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nancy; sisters, Maxine Reimer, Arlene Montoya, Marjorie Blundy, Helen Fandel, and Betty Eldridge; and brothers, Verdon and Richard.
