Virginia (Ginger) Williams, age 70, of Lyons passed away May 4, 2019. Ginger was born in Fargo, Georgia, the daughter of Travis and Mae (Mercer) Pittman.
Surviving Ginger are her loving husband of 54 years, Larry Williams; her mother on earth and sister, Nona (Thomas) Gilbert; two children: a daughter, Sheri (Brian) Williams and a son, Larry (Stephanie) Williams, Jr.; eight grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Zachary) Williams, Thomas Perron, Joseph Williams, Shelby Perron, Anthony Perron, Jeremy Thomason, Alexis (Dylan) Holcomb, and Chandler (Katelyn) Holcomb; one-great-grandchild, Brailee Berryhill. Also surviving are her three sisters, Bonnie (John) Raciborski, Nona (Edison) Gilbert, and Cheryl Young; one brother, Nelson (Carol) Pittman; and many nieces and nephews.
Ginger enjoyed being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed her summers up north and her winters down south with friends and family. She loved NASCAR, casino trips, and spending time with friends and family playing cards.
Ginger is preceded in death by her father on earth, Thomas Gilbert; sisters, Lillie (Evert) Martin, Sue (Daniel) Hill, and Ruth (Clayton) Mitchell; and brother, Bill (Dorothy) Pittman.
A Celebration of Life luncheon will take place on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at the VFW Post #4090 in Portland. Michigan. Online condolences may be made at www.lehmanfuneralhomes.com.
