James Belen Obituary

James R. Belen, age 90, of Lansing, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018. He was born April 8, 1928, the son of Rudolph and Mary Catherine (Jackson) Belen. James was a member of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church and he enjoyed playing cards, bowling, and golfing.

Surviving James are his siblings, John "Jack" Belen, Donald Belen, Mary Yeakley, and Julia Whipple. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 10, 2018 at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, Lansing. Inurnment will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mother Theresa House or St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church in memory of James. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes.
