Janice Lynn Livingston, age 81, of Portland, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 2, 2019. Janice was born on September 13, 1938, the daughter of Burton and Marian (Barton) Brown. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Portland and was very dedicated to the Blessed Mother and the rosary. Janice volunteered at funeral dinners and enjoyed cooking, baking and music. Her greatest love was her family and she cherished the time spent with them. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Livingston; son, Joe Lazarus; brother, Jeffery Brown, and son-in-law, Dave Fletcher. Surviving are her children, Richard (Connie) Lazarus, Dawn Fletcher, Mary Jayne, Elizabeth (Edwin) Helms and Laura (Mark) Davis; 25 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; step-children, Amy Patrick, Roy George (Karen) Livingston, Jr., Carl Eric Livingston and Witt Drewyor; siblings, James Brown, Joan (Kenneth) Guy, Joel (Nelda) Brown, Jerrold (Judy) Brown, William (Pamela) Brown, Anne (Fritz) Russman, Thomas (Cindy) Brown, Christopher (Constance) Brown, Jon Brown, Brian (Pat) Brown, and Michael (Lisa) Brown; sister-in-law, Sue Brown; and many nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Mike Alber at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at East Sebewa Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Monday and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at the Lehman Funeral Homes, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland.
