Kathleen Ann Simon

Kathleen Ann Simon, age 71, of Westphalia, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020. She was born on October 29, 1948 the daughter of Raymond and Eloise (Phelps) Edwards. Kathleen was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Christian Mother’s Society. She enjoyed traveling, sewing and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Mike Edwards; in-laws, Mary Ann Esch, Kathleen Simon and Karen Simon; Surviving are her husband of 47 years, Bill; children, Jeff Simon, Scott Simon and Jennifer (Chad) Whited; grandchildren, Mia, Gus, Sofie, Evan, Nicholas and Lily; sisters, Joan (Bill) Price and Mary (Gary) Holcomb; brother, Raymond (Kathy) Edwards; Simon in-laws, Alice Pline, Ed (Kay) Simon, Paul Esch, Betty Elizabeth (Julius) Schafer, Bernard (Carol) Simon, Mark (Beth) Simon, Rose (Darryl) Schmitz and Susan (Anthony) Pescatore; many nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Dennis Spitzley at 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 6, 2020 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Sunday at the St. Mary’s Funeral Chapel, 210 N. Westphalia St. The rosary will be prayed at 1:30 p.m. and the scripture service at 5:30 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes.
