Age 82, passed away on Good Friday, March 30, 2018.  She was born on March 20, 1936 in Lansing, the daughter of Aloysius and Elizabeth (Fandel) Droste.  Pat was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Christian Mothers Society (former officer), and the “Ark Angels corner booth”.  Pat raised her family on the farm and her Catholic faith provided a great example for her children and grandchildren whom she loved deeply.  Throughout her life she enjoyed her many friends through bowling, cards, or simply sharing a cup of coffee.  She was a loyal PW Pirate, Spartan, and Tiger fan.  She was preceded in death by James Pung, her husband of nearly forty years; her parents; her sister and brother-in-law, Georgiana and Charles Clark, sister, Alice (Sam) Donohue, sister, Wilma (John) Schafer, brother, Tom (Janet) Droste.  Surviving are children, Dan (Jane) Pung, Ann (Bernie) Lehman, and Debbie (Glen) Stump of Westphalia; grandchildren, Nick (Taylor), Andy (fiancé Danielle Bott), and Peri Pung; John, Matthew, Sarah, Jimmy, and Katie Lehman; Lydia, Carley, and Jenna Kramer; brother, Richard (Bernadette) Droste; several sisters and brothers in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Eric Weber, Pastor at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church.  Inurnment will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the St. Mary Funeral Chapel, 210 N. Westphalia Street, Westphalia on Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 5:30 - 8 p.m. and on Monday, April 9, 2018 from 1:30 – 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 – 8:00 p.m.  The rosaries will be prayed at 5:30 p.m., Sunday and at 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Lehman Funeral Home, Portland.
