Paul W. Fedewa, age 95 of Westphalia passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018. He was a loving father, devoted husband, grandfather, and great grandfather. Paul was born on November 2, 1922 in Dallas Twp., the son of Herbert and Martha (Stump) Fedewa. Paul was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Westphalia, and a 4th generation lifelong farmer. He was a Veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army and a lifelong member of the V.F.W. Post #4090 in Portland and the V.F.W. Post #3733 Fowler, Pewamo, Westphalia. Paul was also a member of the St. Joseph Society and loved to dance, both he and Lucille could be found almost every weekend at a dance. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Richard, Donald and James and a sister, Florence Schneider. Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Lucille; children Bonnie (Vern) Thelen, Daniel (Rosa) Fedewa, Keith (Geralyn) Fedewa, Glenn (Michelle) Fedewa and LouAnn (Todd) Keitchen; 14 grandchildren: Matthew and Dominic Thelen; Aaron and Scott Fedewa; Nick, Lee, Kara, and Krista Fedewa; Patrick, Brooke, Andrew, and Paul Fedewa; Kaylee and Cody Keitchen.; 20 great grandchildren who often brought a smile to his face. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Eric Weber at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Military graveside services will be provided by the V.F.W. Post #3733. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday in the St. Mary's Parish Hall. The rosary will be prayed at 5:30 p.m. The family would like to thank the staff at Hazel Findlay for their kind care of Paul.
