Robert Howard Applegate

Robert H. Applegate- son, brother, father, grandpa and loving partner—died on Monday, December 3, 2018 at his home in Ionia, MI. He was 51 years old.

Robert was an avid fisherman. What he lacked in skill, he made up for in his passion for spending time at his favorite fishing hole.       Robert enjoyed being outdoors and close to nature when he was not spending time with loved ones. Robert collected coins. He also collected trinkets and treasures from his many metal detecting excursions.  Robert was engaging and outgoing. He will be remembered by many people whose lives were changed by his presence.

Robert will be missed by his mother, Linda (Bob) Prescott; his younger sister, Christina; his younger brother, Jason; his son, Robert(Mercedes) Applegate; his daughter, Brittney Applegate; his beautiful grandchildren, McKenleigh and Harrison; his friend, partner and love, Ed and their dog, Duke.

The family will celebrate Robert’s life in a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to WMEAC.
