Rose “Peg” Etta (Cooper) Leak

Rose Etta “Peg” (Cooper) Leak was born November 29, 1930 and she passed away on March 7, 2018, at the age of 87. Born in Ionia to Clyde, Sr. and Iva (King) Copper in Ionia, Michigan. She married Don Leak on May, 26, 1967. She grew up in Ionia, working for Peske Meat Packing. She loved going to the casino and playing bingo at the Moose. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers Gene King, Stanley, Jim, Jack, and baby Cooper. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Don Leak; children, Elaine (Mike) Peterson of Orem, UT, Larry (Sharon) Eliason of Portland, Dixie Eliason, Peggy (Keith) Salter of Ionia, Teresa Sweet of Alma, Terry (Elwood) King of Ionia, Danelle (Ryan) Carigon of Belding; brothers, Clyde and Ivan Cooper; special friend, Lynn Burns; grandchildren, Melody Watson, Marty (Annette) Burch, Nicole Salter (Patrick), Eric (Kim) Eliason, Chad (Amy) Salter, Christoper (Leah) Salter, Heather Winchell, Heather Parker (Tyson), Matt (Maranda) Dittrich, Shandra (Brad) Heshe, Lea Dittrich (John), Ashley (Floyd) Nickell, Andrea (Lee) Rusell, Danielle Bailey, and Jennifer Sweet; 32 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place with a Memorial Service date pending. Arrangements are with Lehman Funeral Homes, Ionia.
