Adeline H. Bryner

Adeline Helena Bryner, age 101, of Portland, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 29, 2025. She was born on February 9, 1924, to William and Anna Thelen. Adeline lived a long and meaningful life filled with love, dedication, and creativity. She was a talented seamstress for many years and shared her gifts with others through her beautiful handiwork along with baking her unforgettable wedding cakes. Adeline also enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George; son William and infant son Gary Lee; her parents; sister Lourine Schafer; and brother Lee Thelen.

Adeline is survived by her children: Carol (Jim) Wlodarzcack, Daniel (Annette) Bryner, Terry Bryner, and Pam Bryner; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with Deacon Randy Hodge presiding at Lehman Funeral Home, 210 East Bridge Street, Portland.
