Arlo Chris Seybold, of Sunfield, passed away February 7, 2025 at the age of 80. Arlo was born on December 9, 1944 in Lake Odessa, the son of Leland and Hazel (Hath) Seybold. He was a graduate of Portland High School – Class of 1964, he then went on to work at Central Soya and ultimately retired from the State of Michigan Highway Department. Arlo was an avid NASCAR and Detroit Lions fan. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Preceding Arlo in death are his parents; wife, Sandra Seybold; brothers, Arthur and LeRoy Seybold; and sister, Marlene Seybold. Surviving Arlo are his stepdaughters, Jennifer (Joshua) Thomet and Jessica Carter; step-grandchildren, Lorelei, Leonardo, and Alastare; and his extended “Tupper Lake Road Family”.
A Celebration of Arlo’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland, with Pastor Williams of the Sunfield United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Danby Township Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at the Mulliken Township Hall, 102 Ionia Street, Mulliken. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes. Online condolences may be made at www.lehmanfuneralhomes.com.
