Betty Martin Obituary

Betty Anne Martin, age 81, of Ionia, passed away November 9, 2020 at her home. She was born on February 2, 1939 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Al and Anne (Wasilewski) Hubbard. She was a graduate of the Grand Rapids Catholic Central Class of 1957 and she was proud to work at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum. Betty was a one-of-a-kind woman; she was very thoughtful and had a giving and compassionate heart. Betty loved life and had a crazy laugh. She loved her family and will be missed by many.

Preceding Betty in death are her parents; daughter, Kimberlee Martin-Plato; son, Philip Martin, Jr.; and son-in-law, Daniel Garbarino, Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Debra Garbarino; daughter-in-law, Mary Martin; grandchildren, Felicia (James) McCullough, Philip Martin III, and Anthony (Victoria) Plato; step-grandchildren, Dan (Jennifer) Garbarino, Jr., Rhonda (Tom) Perez, Tricia Garbarino, and Beth Garbarino; numerous great-grandchildren; adopted daughter, Debbie (William) Kelley; and siblings, Bev (Tom) Feuerstein and Bill (Ann) Hubbard.
