Billy "Bill" Hill Obituary

Billy Bert Hill, age 82, of Portland, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2021. He was born in Vermontville, Michigan, the son of William and Ella (Kimmel) Hill. Bill retired from TRW after 40 years of service. He reveled in the outdoors, enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cutting wood. Bill loved talking to people and was fond of his log cabin house on Lyons Road. Bill was a great storyteller and these memories live on through his pride and joy – his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Preceding Bill in death are his parents; beloved wife of 55 years, Loreita M. Hill; and sister, Carol A. Lovewell. Surviving Bill are his children, Scott (Laurie) Hill, Mark (Melissa) Hill, and Teri Hill; grandchildren, Heather Martin, Ryan (Dr. Jennifer) Hill, Hayley (Chris) Emmons, Taylor (fiancée, Tori Hurner) Hill, and Sidney Hill; great-grandchildren, Jovie Martin, Rory Martin, Owen Martin, and Hudson Hill; brother, Jack (Sharon) Hill; brother-in-law, Ron Lovewell; and several nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held. For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association in honor of Bill. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes. Online condolences may be made at www.lehmanfuneralhomes.com.
