Bruce Allen Bowman

Bruce Alan Bowman, of Lansing, passed away on May 30, 2024, at the age of 63.  Born on January 19, 1961, to Shirley May Jansma and Lyle Duane Monroe. He had a 28-year career with Meijer Distribution Center Warehouse 86 in Lansing.  He greatly enjoyed most of his time travelling to all the different lakes and rivers of Michigan, and spending as much of his time as he could with his family and friends.  He was an avid coin collector and he loved listening to classic rock music. He was an extremely generous man who wore his heart modestly on his sleeve.  He was known for giving his last dollar or the shirt off his back to anybody in need. Preceding Bruce in death are his parents, brothers Dean and Monty, sister Cindy and nephew Keith. Bruce is survived by sisters, Cathy (Mark) Kirkey and Sharlene Monroe, nephews and nieces, John Ladisky, Sonja Merrill, Beth Wells, Tara Auge, Robert Vaughan and many great nieces and nephews.
