November 14, 1947 - November 2, 2021

Carolyn Riker, 73, passed away November 2, 2021. She was born on November 14, 1947. On August 18, 1978 she married Loren Riker.

Surviving Carolyn are her husband, Loren Riker of Ionia; children, Tina (Craig) Pung of Portland, Scott (Chas) Buskirk of Lansing, Mike Riker of Grayling, and Val (Denny) Keefer of Owosso; her grandchildren, Shana Williams, Dakota Wilson, Austin Buskirk, Jessie, Lexie, and Chloe Buskirk, Patrick, Martin, Maria, Carmella, Miranda, Laura, and Lacie; two great-grandchildren, Kenadie Buskirk and Kaiden Wilson and special littles, Carson and Kody; siblings, Peg Hill, Robin Suomi, Mike Fitzgerald, and Carrie Webster; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her son, Kevin Buskirk and her parents, Robert and Margaret Fitzgerald.

Throughout her life, Carolyn worked for Michigan State Police and Arizona State University. She was very passionate about crafting, scrapbooking, and NASCAR. She specifically made personal scrapbooks for each one of her kids and grandkids.

Respecting Carolyn’s wishes there will be no services. Cremation will be handled by Lehman Funeral Homes, Ionia. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sheridan VFW Post 5065 Auxiliary in honor of Carolyn. Online condolences may be made at www.lehmanfuneralhomes.com.
