Catherine Veronica Dusenbery

Catherine Veronica Dusenbery, age 92, of Ionia passed away peacefully on September 9, 2021. She was born in Minnesota on July 14, 1929 to Gustaf and Emma VanOverbeke. 

Catherine is preceded in death by her husband, Edward F. Dusenbery and grandson, David L. Cahill II. Surviving are her daughters, Rebecca (Dusenbery) Cahill (Richard) and Bonnie Dusenbery, son, Royal Dusenbery (Kimberlie); grandchildren: Joe Dusenbery (Amanda), Michael Cahill, Jenn Dusenbery, Erin and Scott Michael; great-grandchildren: Harper, Hazel, Holland, Tayven, Carlie, KeyciaAnn, Kalina, Kyelar, Kinsey, and Kenlee; and great-great-grandchildren, Clayton and Drumm.

She was "grandma" to many and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. 

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Thomas Brown at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Ionia. Rite of Committal will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes.
