Catherine Joan Owen

Catherine Joan Owen of Portland passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 67.

Cathy loved all her children very much, she also enjoyed chatting with people on Facebook but her favorite thing to do was online shopping.

Cathy is survived by her sisters, Donna Owen, Carol Owen, Mary Thompson; her children Jessica, Breyana, Jaden, Cady; nieces and nephews Andrew (Amanda) Thompson, Lora (Lyle) Wilding, Timothy Thompson, Libby Owen, Alex Owen, Heath Owen, Keith Owen; and many beloved great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and June Owen; her brother, John; her sister, Pat; and her children, Ashley, Samantha, and Damien.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Lehman Funeral Home, 210 East Bridge Street, Portland, led by Pastor Joe Robbe.  Visitation will be held the same day starting at 10:00 a.m., interment will be at Delta Center Cemetery, Lansing, Michigan. Online condolences may be made at www.lehmanfuneralhomes.com.
