Charles Francis Stackman, of Ionia, Michigan, died peacefully on March 31, 2020 in Lansing, Michigan at the age of 72.
Charles was born on December 12, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to Charles V. and Mary Stackman.
He is survived by his wife Loretta, of 40 years; daughter, Debbie (Murray) Hill-Cousins; sons, Dean (Nicola) Bedford and Scott (Stacey) Bedford of the United Kingdom; step-son, Brent (Deb) Radhs; step-daughters Tracy (Chad) Dickinson, and Tricia (Greg) Chismar; 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and his cousin, Doreen. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Betty Jean; as well as his step-sons, Christopher and Brian; and step-grandson, Christopher.
Over the years, Charles held many different jobs including working with the Ionia Sheriff and Ionia City Police Departments, he was an HVAC tech, and he owned a candy store in Ionia and a restaurant in Bellville, Michigan. His many hobbies included antiquing and wood working, as well as fishing with his favorite fishing buddies, Matt and Abby. His greatest love was the relationship he had with Jehovah God, speaking about Him and sharing Bible truths with others.
