Cole Kelly Obituary

Cole Christopher Kelly was born to Cynthia Kelly McIntyre (Matthew) and Cameron Peake on July 21, 1984 in Lansing, MI. He was adopted by Dr. Paul Kelly (deceased) and blessed to have two fathers in his life. Anyone who knew Cole will tell you he had nothing but the biggest heart. Gentle and often quiet, he had a way of making loud statements with subtle actions. He will be most remembered for his random acts of kindness, selfless nature, and uncanny ability to make a person laugh after muttering something clever. He enjoyed cooking and working with technology, two passions that were largely self-taught.

Seeing Cole's smile could only make you smile. Those who knew Cole miss him more than he could fathom and wish he were able to grasp the impact of his loss before leaving us. The time we had with Cole will be cherished forever and remembered with sorrow, but most importantly, love.

Cole is preceded in death by his brothers, Ashton Peake and Matt Kelly; father, Dr. Paul Kelly; and grandparents, William Schneider and David Peake. He is survived by grandparents, Ruth Ann Peake and Frances Schneider; brothers and sisters, Aimee (Matt) Buchanan, Aimee Kelly, Austin (Isaias Rosario) Kelly, Camille (Tyler) Bair, Jaylyn (Austin Waddell) Kelly, and Shayne Kelly; nephew, De'Andre Davenport, to whom he was like a brother, and niece, Alexandria Brown. He leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, who are equally devastated to see him gone too soon.

"That it will never come again is what makes life so sweet." - Emily Dickinson
