Daniel Dalton Obituary

Daniel J. Dalton, 53, of Ionia, went to be with the Lord, unexpectedly on November 26, 2020. He was born July 5, 1967 to David and Marcia (Conner) Dalton in Ionia, MI. Daniel attended Saranac High School and graduated in 1985. He went to Michigan State University where he graduated with a degree in electrical engineering. He worked for the family construction business for 7 years. He married Sara Fisk in 1996 whom he had two children with. They remained good friends after their divorce. Later on, he attended Montcalm Community College and graduated with a journeyman electrician certificate. He worked at Ventra of Ionia for 20 years. He married Kendra Billings in 2015 and later divorced. He was an avid fisher, hunter, kayaker, and was well rounded in agriculture and farming. He was also known for being the family prankster and had a special love for dogs. He is survived by his son, Jared Dalton of Ionia; his adopted son, Adam Fisk of Ionia; his two nieces, Heather Anderson of Elkhart, IN and Sara Pennock of Orleans, MI; brother-in-law, Ronald Pennock of Milford, IN; brother, Steve Pennock of Lowell, MI; aunts, Freida Bachman, Nola Dalecke, and Mary Barnwell; uncles, Don Conner, Robert Conner, and Keith Dalton. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, his son, Jeremy and sister, Lori Pennock. He will be missed by everyone.
