David Ralph Crawford

David Ralph Crawford, age 72, of Portland, passed away at home surrounded by his family on April 30, 2021. He was born in York, Pennsylvania on June 23, 1948, the son of Austin and Lorraine Crawford. David was a private person who loved his family with everything he had – his grandchildren were his life. He enjoyed working on hot rods and re-doing old cars and he was especially proud of his 28 Ford Roadster. David was a strong and devoted Marine who served in Vietnam. He earned many medals and accolades for his service including: three Purple Hearts, Silver Star, Bronze Star, Presidential Unit Citation, Navy Unit Commendation with Bronze Star, Vietnam Service Metal with Silver Star, and the Republic of Vietnam Service Citation.

Preceding David in death are his parents; his infant daughter; and his granddaughter, Eliza. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 10 years, Deborah (Kerr) Crawford; children, Julie (Joe) Milhomens and Steven (Kelley) Wullaert; grandchildren, Issac, Jayce, and Ryley Milhomens and Hunter, Riley, and Everleigh Wullaert; and several Kerr in-laws.
