Edna Priest Obituary

Edna M. Priest, age 84, of Ionia, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2020. She was born in Jellico, Tennessee on January 18, 1936, the daughter of Edward and Laura Hatfield. Edna had many hobbies, including sewing plastic canvas, coloring, and doing crosswords. She also loved country music. Preceding Edna in death are her parents; husband, William Priest; son, Alfred McAllister and LeRoy McAllister; daughter, Robin Shattuck; and sister, Betty Johnston. Surviving are her children, Linda (Chip Wilson) Bennett of Arkansas, Roger McAllister of Belding, Garry McAllister of Belding, and Brenda (David) Mosley of Greenville; step-son, William (Cindy) Priest of Arizona; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Rosie (Gene) Burns of Belding. A Graveside Service at Greene Cemetery will be held in the Spring. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes. Online condolences may be made at www.lehmanfuneralhomes.com.
