Erik Jaeger Obituary

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Erik David Jaeger of Haslett, Michigan, age 47, our beloved son, brother, and friend passed on Thursday, August 20, 2020 while at Sparrow Hospital. Erik is irreplaceable, a highly intelligent, deeply kind nature lover that was always laughing.

Erik will be missed every day by his mother Lilija Jaeger, his father David Jaeger, his brother Karl Jaeger, his sister Lana (Eric) Barstad; his nieces Kallie, Liliana, and Alison; his aunts Vilma Kempe, Skaidrite Spule, Rita (Raymo) Dallavecchia, and Cynthia (Robert) McBrearty; his Uncle Doug (Patricia) Jaeger; his cousins Erika (Dan) Ardouin, Raymo (Meghan) Dallavecchia, Krista (Matthew) Gorelik, Amy (Derek) Cross, Veronica (Ron) Rickettson, and Michael Jaeger; his cats Laurel and Hardy; many cousins on his father’s side, and countless friends.

We know Erik is now in heaven with his grandparents Grace and Harry Jaeger & Roberts and Varvara Kempe, his Uncle Ojars Spule, his Aunt Aina and Uncle Victor Kalnins, his Uncle Edvins Kempe, his Aunt Elizabeth (Bud) Christie, and Aunt Jean (Alvin) Moore. We will always love him and long to see him again. We miss you so much, Erik.
