Everett Vogt Obituary

Everett Wilson Vogt, age 78, of Ionia, passed away June 21, 2019. He was born August 11, 1940, the son of Dale and Audrey (Davis) Vogt. Everett loved the outdoors; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and woodworking. He was very hard-working, and a great provider for his family.

Preceding Everett in death are his parents; son, Robert Vogt; sister, Helen Vogt; and brothers, Darwin and Robert Vogt. Everett is survived by his children, Bill (Donnette) Vogt of Lyons, Melissa (Jody) Schwab of Hastings; Dale (Kim Powers) Vogt of Ionia; Michael Vogt of Ionia; and Angela (George Dashner) Smith of Clarksville; grandchildren, William Vogt, Samuel Vogt, Zachary Vogt, Lucas Thompson, James Thompson, Brittney Guernsey, Chelssie Vogt, Cassie Vogt, Alyka Datema, Sidney Cooper, Kyle Rhoades, Michael Vogt, Alex Vogt, Mickey Read, Ashley DeFrance, Kylie Smith, Justin Smith, Lea Smith, and Seth Smith; great-grandchildren, Everett, Xavier, Phoenix, Ahlaya, Leland, Scot, Landon, Lorelei, Levi, Lala, Wyatt, Isaac, Victoria, Marissa, and Maya.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland. A private memorial service will be held by his family.
