Gregg Allan Schatilo
Obituary
Gregg Allan Schatilo, age 77, from Farmington Hills, Michigan, formerly of Ionia, Michigan, left this earth for his final resting place on June 7, 2022. Son of the late George Arthur Schatilo and Alma Catherine Schatilo. Survived by his daughter, Carrie Jo Schatilo-Mecaj and his two bonus daughters, Glenda Reid and Jessica Foster. He retired from the Ionia Corrections Facility and was a veteran of the Army National Guard of Michigan. Gregg most enjoyed listening to his cherished collection of rock and roll records, enjoyed vintage cars, loved his dogs, cooking and living life as he wanted. He was a good man, loved by many and will be greatly missed.
A traditional graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 17, 2022 at North Plains Cemetery, Ionia. Military honors will be provided by the Ionia VFW Post #12082. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes. Online condolences may be made at www.lehmanfuneralhomes.com.
