Hannah E. Martin

Hannah E. Martin, age 23, of Portland, went to Heaven on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. She was born on July 28, 2002, in Lansing, the daughter of Adam and Haley (Knapp) Martin.

Hannah was a bright soul that lit up any room. She was confident and could make people laugh no matter the circumstance, she has a natural, dark sense of humor. She was extremely loyal and a natural caregiver. Hannah was very observant and genuinely interested in people and their likes. She was open-minded, easy-going, and very easy to get along with. She was the ultimate hype woman for anyone. Hannah was super excited and looking forward to becoming "Aunt Nannah" in May.

Hannah loved music and dancing, arts and crafts, collecting rocks and mushroom hunting, reading, and making TikToks. She also enjoyed "cheating" in Skip-Bo, watching and quoting Shrek with her family.

She will be greeted in heaven by great-grandparents, John and Mildred Cooper, Frank and Marilyn Lumbert, and Dorthey Hoppes; grandfather, Dale Knapp; cousins, Bruce Hall and Matthew Knapp; and beloved pets, Daisey and Lu-Lu.

Surviving are her parents, Adam and Haley Martin; sisters, Aubrey (Carter) Newcomb and Morgan Martin; grandparents, Linda Knapp, Jerry "Shine" and Cathie Martin; her fury sister, Bella and her fury nephew, Dallas; and many aunts, uncles, cousins. 

The Funeral Service honoring Hannah will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, January 19, 2026 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland. Interment will follow at North Eagle Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00-5:00 p.m. on Sunday and 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
