Herlinda Isabel (Hernandez) Sandoval

Herlinda Isabel Sandoval, age 68, of Ionia passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018. She was born on October 13, 1950, the daughter of Felix and Maria (Castro) Hernandez. Herlinda enjoyed gardening, sewing, and loved crossword puzzles. She enjoyed going to lunch with her former co-workers. She loved family gatherings and being with her family, especially the grandchildren. Herlinda was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Dolores Valasquez, Raymond Hernandez, Minerva Cantu, Mario and Roberto Hernandez; sisters-in-law, Minerva Hernandez and Consuello Hernandez; brothers-in-law, Floyd Luna and Erasmo Cantu; Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Rafael; Daughters, Leticia (fiancé, Matthew Connell) Sandoval, Rana (Nick) Johnson, and Amanda Sandoval; sons, Ralph (Amy) Sandoval and Ricardo Ramos; grandchildren, Ruben, Jose, Honesty, Kross, Keagen, Breana, Nevaeh, Wyatt, Shyla, and Stephen; siblings, Felix, Jr., Roy (Sarah) Hernandez, Virginia Luna, Carlos (Rose) Hernandez, and Gloria (David) Borton; brother-in-law, Art Velasquez; sister-in-law, Dana Hernandez; also surviving are Rafael’s family, Ricardo (Diana) Sandoval, Alma (Ramon) DeLaRosa, Diana (Louis) Esquivel, Oscar (Joanne) Sandoval and Janie Sandoval; many nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 434 High St., Ionia. Rite of Committal will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens at a later date. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at the Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia.
