Jacquelyn Hartner Obituary

Jacquelyn Ruth Hartner, age 74, of Portland, passed away on September 15, 2021. She was born in Benzonia, Michigan on March 3, 1947. Jacquelyn lived a full life- loving her family and grandkids, celebrating holidays, bird watching, playing Euchre, and getting a good deal (x10). She cherished her Christmas village, collecting pencil sharpeners and crafting. She leaves a legacy of love, friendship, and creativity.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Eugene Kettleson and Mildred (Kettleson) Graves and brother, Rick Harris. Jacquelyn is survived by her husband, Orville Hartner; children, Sandy (Pat) Peabody, Brian Rice, and Eric (Jenn) Hartner; and grandchildren, Kayla and Allison Peabody, Zane Rice, and Adalyn and Kai Hartner.

A visitation honoring Jacquelyn’s life will take place at The Red Mill, 349 N. Water Street, Portland on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. There will be a short service at 6:00 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes.
