James Joseph Hobner

James Joseph Hobner, age 74, of Portland, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018. He was born October 31, 1943, the son of Burnette J.J. and Katherine (Kenyon) Hobner. He enjoyed working on cars and tractors. He loved to be with his family, his dog, Buster, and taking walks on the farm. 

Surviving James are his mother, Katherine Velcheck; wife, Lucinda Lou Hobner; sons, Buddy and Michael Hobner; grandchildren, Matt (Heather), Justin, and Shelby (Matt) Zinn; great-grandchildren, Ali, Matt, Phoenix, and Jasper; and brothers, Ken (Nancy) Kalmeyer and John Kalmeyer.

A Memorial Service will be officiated by Pastor April Barrett, Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, Portland.
