Jean Lorraine (Dunn) Clark

Jean Lorraine Clark, age 96, of Ionia, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2021. Born August 22, 1924 in Ionia to Cecil and Irene Dunn, she lived her entire life in Ionia. Jean was a graduate of the Ionia High School Class of 1942.

She is survived by her children, Lauri (Jim) Zimmerman of Stanton, Michigan, Mary Ann Coleman of Florence, South Carolina, and John Clark of Kansas City, Missouri; grandchildren, Chris Zimmerman of Stanton, MI, Cory Zimmerman of Stanton, MI, Jeff Sturgis of Florence, SC, Jennifer (Aubrey) Sturgis of Columbia, SC, Vicki (Matt) Fitch of Kansas City, MO, Katy Clark of Kansas City, MO, Ben Clark of Charlotte, NC, and Josh (Tracy) Clark of Kansas City, MO; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Bettie Clark; and special friends, Lucille Leslie, Marion Ruehs, and Ken and Ann Felice all of Ionia.

Jean enjoyed attending the First United Methodist Church, quilting, traveling, and antiquing. She was co-owner of the Log Cabin Bar for 7 years and she worked at Ionia County Memorial Hospital for 15 years.

A private family traditional graveside burial will be held. A Memorial Service celebrating Jean’s life will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Ionia at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes. Online condolences may be made at www.lehmanfuneralhomes.com.
