Jon Dennis Royston, age 82, of Portland, passed away on September 4, 2025. He was born April 1, 1943 in Mason the son of Thomas and Ledah (Gephardt) Royston. Jon retired from General Motors and was very proud to be an electrician and being able to help others. He was avid into computers, having one of the very first desk tops available to the public. Jon loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and NASCAR. He was member of the Oak Hill Gun Club, serving as the treasurer for many years, he especially liked teaching youth hunter safety.

He is preceded in death by the love of his life, Judy; his parents; brother, Terry (Sandy) Royston. Surviving are his children, Todd Royston of Portland, Sean (Maura) Royston of Cottage Grove, WI, and Renee (Gary) Fulkerson of Eagle; grandchildren: Anna Royston, Jasmin Waterman, Emma Royston, and Devan Fulkerson; brother-in-law, Keith (Rosemary) Neller; niece, Kristina Neller-Fowler; nephew, Kent (Jennifer) Neller and their daughter, Alex.  

The Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland. Interment will be in Portland Cemetery.
