Joyce Ona Geiger

Joyce Ona Geiger, age 94 of Ionia, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. She was born June 10, 1931 the daughter of Leslie and Gertrude (Morse) Sykes. Joyce enjoyed golfing, bowling and swimming in her younger years, playing cards and was known as an exceptional quilter. Joyce was a member of the Women of the Moose in Ionia. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; grandson, Adam Miller; brothers, Morse and Joseph; sister, June; nephew, Brad Sykes. Surviving are children, Deborah (Edward) Brown, Suzanna (Bryan) Spitzley and Daniel (Twila) Geiger; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one on the way; several nieces and nephews.
