Judith M. Watson

Judith M. Watson, of Portland, died peacefully on October 30, 2025, at age 81, surrounded by her family. She was born on December 4, 1943, in Sioux City, Iowa and lived in Waterloo before moving to Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1968. There she met her future husband Emmett, they married September 25, 1971, and they shared 49 years together before his passing. Judy retired as a Registered Nurse from Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. She was a spunky, fun and on the move person who enjoyed her flowers and vegetable gardens. Judy was a lifelong member of the “Ya Ya” girls, and the Portland Garden Club. She took great care of preparing homemade meals, such as fresh bread, and consistently invited family and friends to enjoy them together. Judy deeply appreciated her caring friends, cherishing the wonderful memories they created together.

Judy leaves behind her son Jordan and his wife Lacey, along with their three children: Emmett, Judd, and Gracie. A private memorial service is planned for a future date. Online condolences may be made at www.lehmanfuneralhomes.com.
