Karl A. Stanke

Karl A. Stanke, age 61, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 2, 2021. He was born on September 25, 1959, the son of Merle and Elsie (Rogers) Stanke. Karl enjoyed the outdoors - especially, hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was a member of the 3 Fires Gun Club, Chief Okemos Gun Club, and the 2 Cylinder Club. Preceding Karl in death are his parents and brother, Dennis Stanke. He is survived by his nephew, Abe (Jenny) Stanke and their children, Shelby (Ryan) Simon and Daniel Stanke; sister-in-law, Alice Stanke and her son, Christopher Proctor. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 7, 2021 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Interment will follow at Keefer-Olmstead Cemetery, Lyons. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes.
