Kristin Marie VanderSyde, 38, of Brevard, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on April 10, 2023. She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the daughter of Greg VanderSyde and Nancy (Ondersma) Dykhouse. Preceding Kristin in death is her brother, Caleb VanderSyde. She is survived by her children, Hannah Rinea VanderSyde and Wyatt Caleb VanderSyde; father, Greg (Nancy) VanderSyde; mother, Nan (Bernie) Dykhouse; siblings, Emily DeBoer, Alisha VanderSyde, Seth VanderSyde, Mila (Brian) Rocha, and Vanessa VanderSyde; and many special nieces and nephews.

The VanderSyde family will be holding a Celebration of Life in honor of Kristin.
