Larry A. Pline, of Westphalia, passed away on May 27, 2026, at the age of 66. Larry was born on December 9, 1959, the son of Marion and Aggie (Thelen) Pline.

Larry was a man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures and treasured the people he loved most. Larry cherished his morning coffee run, especially a good pumpkin spice blend. He was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and University of Michigan athletics. Larry loved riding his motorcycle, listening to music, and taking long drives. He also enjoyed spending quiet time fishing on his boat, where he found peace in the outdoors. Above all else, his greatest happiness came from spending time with his family. He especially adored his grandchildren and treasured every moment shared with them.

Preceding Larry in death are his father, Marion Pline and nephew, Jeff Pline. Left to continue his legacy are his wife, Patti Pline; daughter, Carly (Elliot Torola) Pline and grandson, Hayes; children, Tara (Jarrod) Thelen, Cole Hengesbach, Haley (Brad) Winans, and Hanna (Grant) Thelen; grandchildren, Jude, Lena, Gabriel, and Mira Thelen, Samuel, Logan, Ethan, William Winans, George, Alice, and Audra Thelen; mother, Aggie Pline; siblings, Gary (Melanie) Pline, Sharon (Bruce) Arens, Linda (Ron) Droste and Ron (Dawn) Pline; in-laws, Shirley Linn and Lori (Mike) Wieber; and many nieces and nephews.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so on Sunday, May 31, 2026 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with the rosary being prayed at 1:30 p.m. at the St. Mary’s Funeral Chapel, 210 N. Westphalia Street, Westphalia. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Eric Weber and Fr. Tyler Arens on Monday, June 1, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Westphalia.
