Linda L. (Spaulding) Lee

Linda L. Lee, age 78, of Ionia, Michigan, passed away on September 30, 2024. Born to Kenneth and Arna (Leiter) Spaulding on October 19, 1945, Linda grew up with a strong sense of creativity and curiosity that would shape her entire life. Linda pursued higher education at Michigan State University and at Kendall School of Art. Throughout her life, Linda’s love for collecting flourished, whether it was antiques, unique finds, or treasures that caught her eye. Linda cherished playing cards with her mother, a simple tradition that brought joy and connection. She also found fulfillment in caring for her beloved dog, Brodie, whose companionship brought her immense happiness.

Preceding Linda in death is her father, Kenneth Spaulding. She is survived by her son, Jason Lee and his wife, CeCe and their sons, Adain and Austin of California; son, Shaughnn Capua and his wife, Sara, and their children, Hannah and Marcus of Washington; mother, Arna Gail Spaulding of Ionia; sister, Connie Avery of Florida; sister, Denise (Rick) Demmink of Lowell; and brother, David (Lori) Spaulding of Ionia; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 2-4 p.m. at Sherwood Forest Club House, 1133 Yeomans Street, Ionia, Michigan.
