Lloyd D. Butler age 79, of St. Johns, passed away September 15, 2020 at Sparrow Hospital - St. Lawrence in Lansing. He was born October 26, 1940, the son of John and Frances Butler. He married Kay F. Hart (Butler) on June 2, 1962.
He is survived by a very special sister, Wanda Butler of Dewitt, brother Donald Butler (Diane) of Union City, sons; L. Dean Butler (Lisa Howard) of St. Johns, Tracy Lee Butler (Cynthia Tylor) of Greenville, his daughter, Pamela M. Butler of St. Johns; grandchildren; Nquolitta M. Zuwala (Eric) of St. Johns, Tonya S. Harrington (Brittany) of St. Johns, Crystal L. Harrington (Patrick Feldpausch) of St. Johns, Amber K. Butler-adopted daughter (Kenny Booth) of St. Johns, Tracy J. Butler of Ionia, Alex D. Butler of St. Johns, Jade Butler of Ionia. He is survived by several nieces, nephews. He is also survived by special great-and grandchildren; Emelia R. Butler, Alexa S. Harrington, Madelyn J. Feldpausch, and Keria N. Skutt, Bryson Butler, William Butler.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Kay F. Butler, grandson, Tarin Butler, brother, Floyd Butler, sister, Ruth Bull, brother, Jack Butler, sister, Beverly Sharrock, and his parents, John and Frances Butler.
He loved and enjoyed camping, monster trucks, classic cars, elephant ears, and spending time with family. He was also employed at Schafer’s Bakery for 30 plus years before retiring. He was also a big fan of John Deere Tractors even though he never had the chance to own one.
