Lucille Fedewa Obituary

Lucille D. Fedewa, long-time resident of Pewamo, died at home in the care of her family on April 23, 2021, at the age of 91. Lucille was born in Westphalia on August 6, 1929. Lucille married her sweetheart, Gerald Fedewa on July 11, 1950, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Westphalia. They were married for 66 years.

She is survived by her children, Arlene (Randal) Telesz, Tom Fedewa, Michael (Kimberly) Fedewa, Judy Lunde-Whitman (Harv), Susie (Mike) Klein, Alan Fedewa, and Patty (Stephen) Fox; 25 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson; sister, Mary Schafer; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Smith, Carlene Smith, Agnes Fedewa, and Monica Hatt; and former daughter-in-law, Amy Fedewa.

Lucille was preceded in death by the love of her life, Gerald; her parents, Leo and Antoinette Smith; daughter, Annette (Gerard) Fedewa; son-in-law, Jim Lunde; brothers, Carl (Rose), Delbert (Roselyn), Jimmy, and Jerome Smith; sisters, Loretta (Alvin) Thelen, Joann (Ernie) Thelen, Viola (Francis) Fedewa, brothers-in-law, Marvin Schafer, Marvin Fedewa, and David Hatt.

Lucille was a life-long member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Society. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren – especially spoiling her grandkids with countless card games and ice cream. She also enjoyed her many camping trips, color tours, fishing, trips to the casino, and playing cards with friends and family. Her family always enjoyed her home cooking, baked goods, quick wit, warm heart and beautiful smile.
