Lynda Lee Adams

Lynda Adams, Age 84, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, May 13, 2023. Lynda was born on August 10, 1938 in Sand Lake, Michigan, the daughter of Lorraine Freeland and Howard E. Smith and raised by her step-father, Darwin Roth. Lynda worked out of the home babysitting several children throughout the years. Caring for children was a passion of Lynda’s. On December 29, 1955 she married Ray Adams in Angola, Indiana. Lynda enjoyed spending time with her boys, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed collecting dolls, listening to Country Western music and playing games/puzzles with her grandchildren. Lynda is proceeded in death by her loving husband of over 54 and a half years, Ray Adams; son, Rocky Adams; parents: Lorraine Freeland, Howard E. Smith and Darwin Roth; and daughter-in-law, Peggy Adams. Lynda is survived by her children, Rick (Christine) Adams and Ron (Stacy) Adams; brother, Bill (Ann) Roth; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. The family will hold a private viewing and graveside service on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. The family would like to thank Christine Adams and Sparrow Hospice & Palliative Care for the care they provided Lynda.
