Marcus O. Hartman

Mark Hartman was a lifelong farmer who resided in Ionia his entire life. An avid outdoorsman, Mark lived for hunting and fishing. He enjoyed gardening, showing cows, raising animals (especially golden retrievers) and family gatherings with his children and grandchildren.

Mark was a devout family man. He would give everything he had to help his wife, kids and grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Mildred Hartman. Mark is survived by his wife of 39 years, Tamara, son and daughter-in-law, Benjamin and Briana Hartman, daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Jacob Braun, and daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Elliot Rowley, his grandchildren, Oliver, Amelia and Charlotte Hartman and Violet Braun; his sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Jimmy Voorheis; his brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Kimberly Hartman.

The Funeral Service will be officiated by Rev. Robert Beckett at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at the Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich Street, Ionia. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Woodard Lake Cemetery.
