Marie Dorothy Feldpausch, a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at the age of 88. Born on January 11, 1936, in Riley Township, Marie was the daughter of Arthur and Dorothy (Schrauben) Fedewa. She was raised with a strong sense of family and faith, which she carried with her throughout her life. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. As a longtime member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Marie lived her life with a deep devotion to God. In addition to her devotion to her family and faith, Marie was known for her generosity, her kind heart, and her determination. She was hardworking and genuine, inspiring those around her with her quiet strength. On August 25, 1955, Marie married the love of her life, Francis Feldpausch, with whom she shared a life full of cherished memories. Together, they raised seven children, and Marie's greatest joy was always the time she spent with her family. Marie was a woman of many talents and interests. A gifted cook, she was especially famous for her mustard pickles, and she took great pride in her ability to can and preserve food for her family. Whether she was knitting, playing cards, or fishing at Chippewa Lake, Marie always knew how to make every moment count.
