Marissa Marie Chapman

Marissa Marie Chapman, age 40, of Ionia, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. She was born on May 23, 1982 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Christopher and Yolanda (Carrizales) Chapman. Marissa was a kind loving mother, who had a creative mind and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. She cherished her time with her family and her dog, Rocky. She was preceded in death by her father, Christopher; brother, Christopher; grandmother, Antonia Carrizales; grandparents, Clifford and Helen Chapman. Surviving are her sons, Xavier Bergerow and Christopher Chapman; daughter, Jasmine Begerow; mother, Yolanda (Jerry) Hines; grandfather, Felix Carrizales; and her life long companion, Josh Bergerow; and many aunts and uncles and cousins. A private family service will be held. Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery, Ionia. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes.
